The longer hello

More about me.

I’m Sans, Sanskriti Bhatia on paper. Born in Nagpur, raised in Thane just outside Mumbai, in Seoul since 2017. Most of what I do (the channel, the businesses, the writing) is one project: documenting what it takes to design a deliberate life, as an Indian woman building one in Korea, on her own terms.

01 · How I got here

Korea at 19, on a scholarship.

I came to Korea in 2017, at 19, on the GKS-U scholarship (the Korean government’s undergraduate program for international students) and studied Computer Science at Yonsei University. That scholarship is the door that opened everything else.

8 years later, I have: TOPIK Level 6, KIIP Level 5. Enough to handle the paperwork, the small talk, and most of a dinner-table conversation in the language.

02 · Off the default script

Five jobs, then my own.

After Yonsei I worked as a software engineer at five different companies in Seoul. SWE is the default script for a CS grad, and I wanted to know it from the inside before I decided what was actually mine. After 4 years in tech, I left to build my own things.

The three projects below are different surfaces of the same project: which is building a deliberate life.

03 · What I’m building now

Three things, in parallel.

koreaadmit

Helping international students study in Korea.

After I started posting on YouTube, my comment section lowkey turned into a study-abroad helpdesk. Almost every message was a version of the same question: how do I come study in Korea? KoreaAdmit is the proper, end-to-end answer: programs, essays, scholarships, the visa runway, and all the small lived details that only make sense once you’ve walked through them.

Korea gave me the freedom to build a life on my own terms. I want other students to get that same shot.

Designing a deliberate life, out loud.

The channel documents what it actually takes to design a deliberate life, as an Indian living in Korea, on her own terms. Korea is the setting. The business/startup is the proof. The self-concept work underneath is the engine.

My content is for solo builders, creators, and quiet rebels: the people who feel the pull to design something other than the default and want company along the way. The earlier subliminal and self-concept videos still live there too; they were the identity work I was doing before I had the language for it.

04 · Outside of the work

The rest of the life.

I live with two British Shorthair cats, Elysian and Ikigai, born June 2022 and currently 4. They run a tighter ship than I do.

I do CrossFit, walk about 15,000 steps a day, spend a lot of nights pair-programming with Claude (this site is one of those nights), and host meetups in Seoul for people building things and people who want to.

05 · Reach out

Say hello.

LinkedIn is the best way to reach me for work. Email works for everything else: sanseuyt@gmail.com. If you’re in Seoul, the open meetup is probably the friendliest door.
