“We’re right in the middle of the Second Golden Age”
The internet makes is possible to have access to unlimited information. Of course we can’t learn everything but we can learn A LOT.
Here are some things I learned from scratch through the internet (mostly youtube1):
- Web Development
- React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Style Sheets
- Web Design
- Webflow
- Figma
- Video editing
- Using final cut pro
- Getting a job
- How to write a good resume
- Cover letter writing
- A to Z of caring for kittens and cats
- Motivation + Inspiration to keep going
AND A LOT MORE
We learn from example. By seeing people in their element. By seeing people doing something they love to do
Living in two different worlds
I feel like I’m living in two different world - the online world on social media, youtube or linkedin or X is so open, optimistic, creative, futuristic and values self-education and self development above anything else.
And then I’m living in the real physical world - where people are stuck, they’re close-minded, pessimistic about the future. These people are suppressing their natural interests and curiosity and FOR WHAT? For something dreadful like job security.
